#9: Keep a standard grocery list

I have found it to be a huge help to keep a standard grocery list of all the things we commonly eat. This way I don’t have to wrack my brain to reinvent a grocery list every week. I don’t know about you but my memory doesn’t seem to work quite as well as before I had my child so this saves me some frustration. Now I can just go through the whole list and easily check off what we don’t need – leaving the things we do need clearly visible. Bonus tip: I divide my grocery list into four sections (produce, meat/dairy, refrigerated/frozen, everything else) so I don’t find myself zigzagging all over the store because I missed something on my list.

How about you? Is this an old trick for you? What do you do to make grocery shopping easier>
